re/design

After a small amount of consideration and contemplation, I have decided to start an ever popular family blog. I kinda hate to start one because part of me thinks they are too cliche and popular...but at the same time, with all of our out of town family and friends, it just makes sense! I want all of our family and friends, back in Ontario & right here around us, to be apart of Nash's life as much or as little as they want. I haven't been up to date posting on my business blog, so I am redesigning it into our family blog, but I can continue to post business as well as it suits! First up I have to post my birth story, because, well because I just LOVE IT! Then I plan to sum up our year with Nash so far and try to post once a week - anecdotes, growth, struggles, triumphs, you know fun stuff, and pictures, lots of pictures!

12 Quilts of Christmas!

Wow, where has the time gone??? Christmas came and went so fast, and I still haven't posted anything that I did over the holidays! I was swamped with quilt orders this season.  Every other day I was getting an order, not to mention the large order which Suzanne placed in early Fall for Chirstmas! She came to me wanting 3 queen sized quilts for all her kids and inlaws.  It was a big undertaking, but I did it! These are the three finished products, top was for Steve & Alyssa (mushroom prints and all!), middle was for Tony & Ashlee, and left side was for Seth & Jenine. I hear they all loved them so much :) I also made the grandbabies Christmas print quilts, which were adorable, but I forgot to take pics of them! Ahh so much to do!

Hip Tots

Bandana Bibs are the newest and cutest way of protecting your little ones clothes from spit up and drool! They look so adorable on and serve a great purpose! My girlfriend Nicole got me started on these suckers for her little guy, Boston! The BRR was ruining many outfits a day and so she came to me asking if I could make her some of these bibs.  I found some great flannel prints for her and wa-la!...here they are.  Fastened with two adjustable snaps and also reversible! The flannel absorbs great too!
$7 each

Message me on Facebook or comment on my blog if interested in purchasing...also come available in cute girl prints too :)

boy oh boy

One of my biggest fans is my sister-in-law's sister Shelley! Shelley fell in love with the baby quilt I made for Alex before he was born, and when she was pregnant, Chrissy had me make a gender neutral quilt for her. I did it in greens, turquoise, then Chrissy had it embroidered when she was born. Now Shelley has ordered a few more for her friends! She ordered this custom baby boy blanket in blues and yellows for a good friend of hers. I had so much fun putting this one together because I love the patterns, which he can grow with, and the little touch of trucks makes it so fun! I hope baby Kobe Jacob loves it just as much :)

Beau Ties

I appliqued these onsies with bow ties, bows, and cupcakes for a couple special new arrivals! Baby Jack got the bow tie ones and we are still waiting on our good friends Steve and Kelly's newest addition - should be any day now! Cambridge's finest babies are stylin from auntie noni :)

Petite Filles

A sampling of a couple little girl quilts I did in the summer.  The mom of one of the Jaxon's contacted me after receiving her baby boy quilt and asked me to make her a quilt for her neice Myah! I had something already somewhat complete that she wanted (top and bottom pics). I made it a bit bigger and used the soft dotted minky backing...it looks so cozy and pretty for a little princess! The one in the middle was made for Ella, Ashlee Fruson's cousin Kahla's little girl (whew)! I even made a dolly blanket to go along with it - super adorable!

Proud Aunty

My lil' nuknuk Alex Bradford in a photoshoot for a great cause - Imagine Kids Photobook by Revival Arts Studio has raised thousands of dollars for Mathew's House, which is going to be built here in Abbotsford.  Revival Arts has been donating their session fees to the house and they are creating a coffee table book of all the kids pics! Go to rablog.ca to pre-order your book, cute kids, a good cause, what more could you want :)
